Welcome to The Endangered
The world we live in is becoming endangered.
You might be thinking otherwise looking at the electric cars, social media, state-of-the-art smartphones, streaming websites, 4K TVs, gaming consoles, mars mission, ready-made food and cutting edge medical technologies.
In a way, you’re right. Technology is changing lives. I can't agree more.
But, it is also true that we’re trying to replace everything in our lives with technology. As consumers, we're too engrossed in our devices without realizing that it is robbing precious moments from our lives.
In short, as consumers, we are losing our identity as humans.
We're becoming endangered. We don't take long walks, we don't enjoy art and literature, we can't eat something we like without taking a picture and we're slowly withdrawing ourselves from personal social interactions. And, what I've mentioned here is not even the tip of the iceberg.
Let me ask you a question…
When was the last time you took a walk without listening to music or a podcast? When was the last time you sat by the beach and was mesmerized by the foamy white ocean waves? When was the last time you finished a wonderful book and went to bed with a heavy heart?
If these questions made you think, that's what I'm here to do!
I started Endangered to bring stories that often miss your attention. Stories that will help you focus on history, health, culture, art, literature, music and most of all, humanity.
Stories that will remind you of who are you are…
